Mari Collins Harris is a California-based illustrator, designer, and storyteller. Her stories and art inspire children to find hidden meaning for themselves.

After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Practice of Art, Mari worked for design firms and later a health tech startup in San Francisco. Mari honed her skills as a copywriter, storyboard artist, character designer, and animator. During this time, Mari found a passion for clear communication and education through storytelling.

In 2020, Mari and her husband Nick created an app for young families called Ketshop. Ketshop gives children a safe environment to learn financial basics, through real-world transactions. She has served on the board of several non-profits focused on early childhood education.

Mari grew up in Northern California and currently lives in Lake Tahoe with her husband, three young children, and two fur babies.
